Mike Hilton Hoping to Open Season Against Chiefs: 'Schedule Release Guys, Make Sure That Happens'
CINCINNATI — The Bengals have had some classic tight battles with the Kansas City Chiefs in the past two seasons and 2023 should be no different. They will play again in the regular season—the big question is when?
Cornerback Mike Hilton of "Burrowhead" fame wants the Bengals to play in Kansas City to start the season.
"Absolutely, you know, I'm pretty sure that's the game everybody wants to see opening night," Hilton said in the Bengals locker room on Monday. "So hopefully to the schedule release guys, make sure that happens."
Since Joe Burrow's been in these games, Kansas City and Cincinnati have played to a three-point result each time. Unfortunately for the Bengals, the lone loss of the four came in January's AFC Championship Game.
Both teams hold top-five odds to win Super Bowl LVIII.
