CINCINNATI — Micah Parsons just faced the Joe Burrow buzzsaw and praised him as this season's MVP following Monday night's Dallas loss to the Bengals. The Cowboys edge rusher stumped for Burrow to win the award on his podcast The Edge With Micah Parsons.

Burrow has been the league's most efficient thrower and leads the NFL in passing yards (3,706) and passing TDs (33).

"He's averaging close to 300 yards per game," Parsons said on his show. "He's leading the NFL in everything. It's hard not to give him the MVP. You put him on any other defense, a top defense in the league and he'll beat anybody by a mile."

Cincinnati put Parsons in a traditional stat blender on Monday night. He posted no tackles or sacks in the game but still made a big impact pressuring Burrow 10 times (second-most by Parsons this season) and hitting him three times.
