Ja'Marr Chase Eager To Suit Up Against Texans: 'In My Head, I'm Playing'

CINCINNATI — Ja'Marr Chase made it out to the practice field this week and in his "head" will suit up against the Texans as the Bengals get ready for another AFC battle.

"In my head, I'm playing," Chase said about Sunday's game. "Until further notice and anything else and we'll see."

He dove into the back bruise he suffered on Sunday as treatment, like sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber each night, aid recovery.

"I did a little bit of routes on air," Chase said about Thursday's workload. "Just get myself moving on the grass and stuff so I felt better."

It would be massive if Chase could suit up Sunday as it looks very murky as to whether or not Tee Higgins can play after hurting his hamstring during practice on Thursday.

"Nothing's wrong. It's just bruised," Chase said about his back's structural health.
