Browns AFC North Foe Loses Rookie For Season
Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Cory Trice’s rookie season is over before it ever started.
One of the roster moves that the Cleveland Browns AFC North foe Pittsburgh Steelers made on Wednesday was placing Trice on the injured reserve following an injury he suffered yesterday. The non-contact injury that Trice suffered during practice appeared to be bad and that proved to be true.
Since Trice was placed on the injured reserve before the season, he will be unable to come off of it this year. Trice was a seventh-round selection of the Steelers. The former Purdue Boilermaker had a great chance at cracking the 53-man roster as a rookie.
Now, Trice will be forced to endure a long rehab on a season-ending injury. At this time it is unclear what exactly the injury was. Unfortunate news you hate to see happen to any player, especially one just embarking on his NFL career.
