Browns CB Greg Newsome II Signs With Rosenhaus Sports
Cleveland Browns cornerback Greg Newsome II officially has a new agency he is represented by. Newsome is now with Rosenhaus Sports Agency and Drew Rosenhaus.
Newsome is heading into his third season with the Browns and is still a season away from any sort of extension. As a rookie, he looked like a budding star on the outside for the Browns. Last season he was forced inside more due to need and it didn’t work out till the end of the season on a consistent basis.
With the new agency, a notably aggressive one to be exact, it may be a sign that Newsome is looking for his worth. With Denzel Ward and Martin Emerson Jr. in the mix, the Browns have three corners who can play on the outside. It will be interesting to see how they rotate them.
Newsome would receive the biggest payday playing on the outside, where he’s said he’s most comfortable before. With his new agency, it doesn’t affect things now, but could down the tunnel when it’s time for a new contract.
