Browns S Juan Thornhill Recruiting Former Teammate to Cleveland
Cleveland needs to add another running back whether it’s a free agent or in the draft and safety Juan Thornhill has his eyes set on one in particular. Though many believe that Jerick McKinnon returns to the Chiefs, Thornhill is recruiting him to the Browns.
McKinnon is a versatile back that had 512 receiving yards last season in the Patrick Mahomes led Chiefs offense. McKinnon added another 291 yards on the ground for the Chiefs. He would surely be an upgrade over Kareem Hunt.
The Browns look to be past Hunt and lost D’Ernest Johnson in free agency. They’ll need another back to put with Nick Chubb and Jerome Ford.
McKinnon would be another weapon to the offense and he would come as another Super Bowl champion to have in the roster. Thornhill looks to be in McKinnon’s ear but it may take more than that to land him.
