Saints Preseason Schedule 2026: Dates, Times, TV, Opponents

After two weeks of the players in the franchise going up against each, the New Orleans Saints will finally play another team when it begins their three-week preseason slate starting on Saturday.

New Orleans opens up the preseason slate with a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday at the Caesars Superdome before traveking to play the Los Angeles Rams (Aug. 22). Both games are set for a 3:00 p.m. kickoff. The Saints wrap up the preseason against rival Dallas Cowboys (Aug. 28) in Arlington for a 7:00 p.m. start.

Here is some info about all three teams along with the dates, times, locations and how you can watch all three games.

Week 1: vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Date: Aug. 15
Time: 3 p.m.
Location: Caesars Superdome (New Orleans, La.)

The Jaguars are coming off their first playoff appearance since 2022 and the most wins in a single season in franchise history after a 13-4 season under Liam Coen, who is entering his second year on the job.

The biggest question for the Jaguars throughout training camp is the running back spot. Travis Etienne has departed for the Saints. The battle is between Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez Jr. Those are tough shoes to fill, considering Etienne rushed for 1,000 yards or more in three of the last four seasons.

Week 2: @ Los Angeles Rams

Date: Aug. 22
Time: 3 p.m.
Location: SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, Ca.)

The Los Angeles Rams are coming off a 12-5 season and an appearance in the NFC Championship Game, where they lost to eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.

The Rams made the biggest offseason move of the summer when they received All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett from the Browns in exchange for a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick and a 2029 third-round pick. Garrett is the reigning Defensive Player of the Year after breaking the single-season sack record with 23 sacks. It was the second time he won the award.

There’s a chance we might see first-round draft pick Ty Simpson, who was shockingly drafted by the Ram with the 13th overall pick. He’s currently battling with Stetson Bennett for the backup role and could be the heir to the keys to the offense when reigning MVP Matthew Stafford retires.

Week 3: @ Dallas Cowboys

Time: 7 p.m.
Location: Cowboy Stadium (Arlington, Texas)
Channel: WVUE- FOX 8 (Channel 9)

Unlike the previous two franchises mentioned, the Dallas Cowboys have been a massive disappointment. Dallas has missed the playoffs for two consecutive seasons, finishing 7-10 in both. This came after three straight 12-win seasons.

While quarterback Dak Prescott and the Cowboys lit it up offensively by finishing second in the league in total offense, they also finished 30th in yards allowed and had the league's worst passing and scoring defense.

That resulted in the Cowboys drafting five defensive players with seven picks, with their first two picks being safety Caleb Downs of Alabama and Malachi Lawrence of UCF in the first round.
