Denny Hamlin, who won last weekend's FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan, will not compete in the NASCAR Cup Series event at Mexico City following the birth of his third child.

Denny Hamlin will not travel to Mexico City for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Viva Mexico 250, and instead will remain with his family following the birth of his third child, and first son on Wednesday. Hamlin had run in the last 406 NASCAR Cup Series events.
