We inaugurated the Concession Food Item of the Week column with The Boomstick, the Texas Rangers' 2-foot long hot dog monstrosity. Last season, the Rangers' bested themselves with this new culinary car-wreck.

WHAT COMPRISES SUCH A THING?: A one-pound ground beef patty topped with half a pound of bacon, grilled onions, a pile of melted cheese, and red-pepper mayo on a pretzel bun.
