The Cleveland Guardians have been extremely active on the transaction report over the last few days. Those moves didn't stop on Saturday as the team made another handful of transactions.

Triston McKenzie

The Guardians placed Triston McKenzie on the injured list with a "right elbow sprain." He was scratched from his start on Friday with discomfort, but the injury's extent was unknown.

Now Cleveland will be without their number two pitcher for even more time. McKenzie missed the first two months of the season with a right-teres majors injury.

Bo Naylor

The time has come for Bo Naylor to make his mark in the Big Leagues. This move broke on Friday evening as the Guardians also made a move to DFA Mike Zunino

Naylor has torn up pitching in the minors this season with an average of. 253 and an OPS of .891. This includes 13 home runs and 48 RBI at Triple-A Columbus.

The plan is to start Bo on Sunday with Tanner Bibee on the mound.

Daniel Norris, Tim Herrin

Cleveland needed a fresh set of arms in the bullpen after using four pitchers in Saturday's loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks. The team decided to promote Daniel Norris and Tim Herrin (two left-handed pitchers) to the Big League Club

Norris is a nine-year veteran but has not played in the Majors in 2023. He currently owns an ERA of 6.93 in 14 appearances at Triple-A this season.

Herrin has made 10 appearances this year with the Guardians posting an ERA of 6.39.

Touki Toussaint

With all of the players being added to the Major League roster, someone had to be the odd man out. Touki Toussaint was that player in this case.

He started for the Guardians on Friday night and pitched 3.2 innings allowing two runs.
