In their most recent game, the Cleveland Cavaliers had a strong team performance in a 109-95 road victory over the Chicago Bulls this past Saturday night.

Tonight, the Cavaliers seek their fifth win in their last six contests as they face the Dallas Mavericks on the road.

Here are four things to expect in the first of two matchups this regular season between Cleveland and Dallas.

1. No Mitchell Again

According to Bally Sports Great Lakes’ Cayleigh Griffin, the Cavaliers will be without superstar guard Donovan Mitchell for their fourth straight game due to an illness.

For the Mavericks, according to the NBA’s 7:30 p.m. Injury Report, Kyrie Irving will miss his 10th straight game due to a right heel contusion.

2. Dončić Delivering For Dallas

Dallas’ Luka Dončić is having off to an MVP-caliber start to the season so far.

The four-time reigning NBA All-Star ranks top-three in the NBA in points (33.5, second) and assists (9.4) per game, while ranking 29th with 8.5 rebounds per contest.

In the Mavericks’ most recent game two nights ago, he tallied season-highs of 50 points, four steals (tied), and three blocks, along with six rebounds and 15 assists in a win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

3. Cavaliers Sharing The Ball

The Cavaliers have had one of the most team-oriented offenses in the NBA since the long-term injuries to Darius Garland and Evan Mobley were announced 12 days ago.

In their five games since the announcements were made, the Wine and Gold are leading the NBA with 31.4 assists per game.

4. Not Many Mavericks Miscues

Dallas is averaging the fewest turnovers per game in the NBA with 11.9.

Entering tonight’s matchup, all but one player on the Mavericks’ roster is averaging 1.4 turnovers per game or fewer.
