According to Shams Charania, Minott has agreed to a two-year, $5 million deal with the Boston Celtics. It's almost identical to the two-year, $5.5 million deal Luka Garza signed with Boston.

11:10 p.m. — Wolves likely to rely on internal improvement in 2025-26
According to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic, the Wolves could use their $5.7 million taxpayer midlevel exception, but "they will only use it if they think the player they get will make a significant impact on next season."
"Barring an unexpected move to bring in a more significant new face, the Wolves will be relying heavily on internal improvement for next season," Krawczynski reported.
7:42 p.m. — Garza to the Celtics
Luka Garza needed only 24 hours to go from having the Timberwolves decline his 2025-26 option to getting a two-year, guaranteed contract with the Boston Celtics. Read more here.
7:20 p.m. — Tyus Jones signs one-year deal with Orlando Magic
One of Minnesota's potential veteran point guard options is heading elsewhere.
Free agent guard Tyus Jones has agreed to a one-year, $7 million deal with the Orlando Magic, sources tell ESPN. Magic officials negotiated the deal with Jones' agent Kevin Bradbury of LIFT Sports Management, which gives Jones a key role for the East contenders. pic.twitter.com/oR6gTHDyPK

7:08 p.m. — Hawks acquire NAW in sign-and-trade with Wolves
Alexander-Walker is receiving a four-year, $62 million contract to play for the Atlanta Hawks. In the reported sign-and-trade, the Wolves will receive a 2027 second-round pick that originally belonged to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Read more here.

According to Brett Siegel, the Alexander-Walker sweepstakes is down to the Pistons and Hawks.

12:50 p.m. — Jesse Edwards returns on two-way deal
Edwards has signed his two-way qualifying offer to stick around in Minnesota, per Michael Scotto. The 25-year-old center from the Netherlands averaged 11.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks in 34 games for the Iowa Wolves last season. He also played five minutes in two NBA games.
