Interesting Stat About Wizards Sophomore Johnny Davis

In this story:
Last season, the entire world was eager and anxious to see what newly drafted Washington Wizards guard Johnny Davis would do in the NBA. After what he did at Wisconsin with the Badgers, it was expected for Johnny to duplicate those results in the NBA. However, great things take time to grow. You can think of Johnny as a flower or fruit or even a vegetable in a garden. We have to water them continuously for them to grow and sprout and be what we want them to be. That is just what the Washington Wizards did last season. He took time to grow and develop and he is still growing and developing now.
When asked at media day what he wanted to improve upon from his rookie year, Johnny Davis said "everything."

As last season ended, Johnny’s minutes went up tremendously. They picked up right where they left off last season in the Wizards first preseason game and victory against the Cairns Taipans. Johnny Davis was a key piece to the team’s 145-82 victory scoring 13 points shooting 75% from the field. However, what’s worth noting is he led the team in minutes yet again. The Wizards are still continuing to water this precious and valuable vegetation of their garden. Johnny is still growing and learning. He will only continue to grow.
It is important to see this particular vegetation of the garden in Washington grow because he is here for a reason. While it hasn’t been said, we all know what the deal is. Johnny Davis is the player that will succeed the great Bradley Beal. It will take time to completely fill these shoes. However, Johnny will get there with continuous efforts to help develop his game. The Wizards will play the Charlotte Hornets tonight. You can expect to see a lot more of Johnny Davis tonight.
