CINCINNATI — The New England Patriots are signing former Bengals guard Alex Redmond according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

The 26-year-old spent the first four years of his career in Cincinnati. He worked out for New England last week

Redmond appeared in 32 games for the Bengals since 2017, making 24 starts.

The Bengals clearly wanted fresh cases in the offensive line room. They added three linemen in the draft and signed Riley Reiff in free agency.

Cincinnati has had plenty of roster turnover over the past two seasons. Redmond is the latest veteran to sign elsewhere.
