CINCINNATI — The Browns have agreed to terms with former Pro Bowl edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney on a one-year deal, worth up to $11 million according to Josina Anderson.
Clowney had 37 tackles and nine sacks for Cleveland last season. He reunites with Myles Garrett to form one of the best edge rushing tandems in the NFL.
The Bengals play the Browns twice this season, including a primetime matchup on Monday Night Football (Week 8) in Cleveland.
Their defensive line was arguably their biggest weakness. Clowney gives the Browns another capable edge rusher to put pressure on Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson and the rest of the NFL.
