Report: Brian Callahan Completes Colts HC Interview, Indianapolis Could Conduct Third Interview Round

CINCINNATI — The Indianapolis Colts are turning over every stone in their head coaching search.

According to Mike Garafolo, Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan and all other second-round interviewees are "nearly done" with their sessions.

"The Colts are nearly done with their second round of head coaching interviews and are considering a rare Round 3 as well," Garafolo tweeted. "If they go that route, they’d pare down the list to a select few finalists before making their decision on their next HC. GM Chris Ballard and owner Jim Irsay are conducting one of the more thorough searches we’ve seen. Lots of candidates and long in-person interviews (around 12 hours in some cases), so another round to make sure they’re comfortable with their pick would fit."

Callahan and defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo (Cardinals interview this week) are going through the rounds with different teams. Yet, if the betting odds are any indication, neither has a strong chance of leaving Cincinnati.

As of Jan. 31, neither coach was listed on BetOnline's latest odds for Arizona or Indianapolis's next head coach.
