The Buffalo Bills will be in action this Sunday as they visit the AFC South champions, the Jacksonville Jaguars for the first round of the NFL playoffs.

Buffalo finished the regular season 12-5 while the Jags were 13-4. The Bills entered the season as one of the favorites to win it all, but an inconsistent season has them entering the game as underdogs against the red-hot Jaguars.

With the stage set, let's look ahead to the game with three bold predictions for the Bills as they attempt to move into the second round of the playoffs.

Joey Bosa records two sacks

Buffalo signed Joey Bosa this offseason to give them a pass-rushing specialist to lean on. The former first-round pick has been dealing with a hamstring injury, but the Bills have been managing his snaps to keep him fresh for the playoffs.

That pays off in our second bold prediction as Bosa gets after Trevor Lawrence. The Jacksonville quarterback was sacked 41 times this season, and this prediction has Bosa getting two against him.

Bills hold Jaguars to fewer than 75 rushing yards

The Jaguars have been one of the best offenses in the NFL, led by Trevor Lawrence. He had 4,007 yards passing with 29 touchdowns during the regular season. He had plenty of help from Travis Etienne in the ground game, with 1,107 yards. Despite his efforts, they were still just 20th in the league in rushing yards.

In this bold prediction, the Buffalo defense takes advantage of that by slowing down Jacksonville's rushing attack. Look for the Bills to hold them to fewer than 75 yards on the ground.

Josh Allen throws for 300 yards

Josh Allen had another strong season, with 3,668 yards passing and threw for 25 touchdowns. He added another 579 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground. As well as he played, he topped 300 yards passing in just three games this season.

Our final bold prediction has Allen going above that in their first playoff game. The Jaguars finished 11th in yards given up, but their defense struggled with the pass. They were 21st in yards surrendered, which sets Allen up for the big game. The Jaguars were also first against the run, so a big game from Allen is needed for them to have success.
