It's not often where fantasy football can be mimicked in real life, but don't tell that to Dalvin Cook.

Cook - now a free agent running back after being cut by the Minnesota Vikings - is on the lookout for his next team, and that could potentially feature free agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Cook recently appeared on the Adam Schefter podcast and spoke on the opportunity to team up with the fellow Pro Bowl player.

“I know his mindset, and I played against D-Hop a numerous amount of times,” said Cook on The Adam Schefter Podcast. "I want to go win. Like I said, the money is gonna come and that's going to happen. But as far as going to lift that trophy up, he's got the same mindset as me.

“If we end up on the same roster, that would be something epic for the NFL.”

Teaming up would form quite the dynamic duo, that it would be tough to find the following:

1. A team that needs both star talent at receiver and running back

2. Said team to be on the verge of winning the Super Bowl

3. Also having enough cap space to pay both players

Both Cook and Hopkins are still seeking top dollar despite their relative age and wear/tear, which would make even the small possibility of both landing on the same squad tough.

Cook has yet to make any official visits during his short tenure as a free agent while Hopkins has met with both the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots.

Perhaps the only place the two could link up is on Madden, though the thought is nice.
