Dallas Cowboys 2026 NFL Schedule Leak Reveals Week 3 Opponent in Brazil

In this story:
The Dallas Cowboys are hoping for a bounce-back year in 2026, and the team will enter the season with the 13th-easiest strength of schedule in the NFL.
Dallas welcomes the second-place finishers from the NFC North and AFC North, the Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens, respectively, along with each NFC East rival twice, the NFC West, and the AFC South for the upcoming season.
Unfortunately for the Cowboys, one of the games is part of the NFL International Series, so they will be heading to Brazil for a historic game in Rio de Janeiro. And now, the opponent appears to have leaked.
According to Gianna Han of The Baltimore Banner, the Cowboys and Ravens will face off at the iconic Maracaña Stadium. The league previously played in Sao Paolo's Neo Quimica Arena in 2024 and 2025.

The game will reportedly take place in Week 3 of the regular season, so it will be interesting to see what day of the week the game falls on. Previous games in Brazil have been held on Friday nights, with each game drawing north of 47,000 fans in attendance.
The Week 3 trip will give the Cowboys one longer week of preparation before closing out the first month of the season. And, as we know, the league loves to schedule Dallas in primetime, so there will be some short weeks later down the line as the season rolls on.
Dallas' schedule breaks down to nine home games and eight games on the road, though with the Cowboys being designated as the home team for the game in Brazil, the team has an even 8 home, 8 away, and one neutral site split. The full 2026 NFL schedule is typically released in mid-May, following the NFL Draft.
