9:44 p.m. — Breer calls Vikings the Aaron Rodgers "wild card"
"They're still discussing that. So whether or not they throw their hat in the ring, we'll see. As of last night, I know they were still discussing it," Albert Breer said Thursday. "Maybe they throw their hat in the ring now. It's obviously a fluid situation and there's a lot going on."
7:48 p.m. — Taylor Heinicke to the Chargers
And another veteran backup QB is off the board with news breaking that Taylor Heinicke has agreed to a deal with the Chargers.
The #Chargers and Taylor Heinicke have agreed to a one-year extension worth up to $6.2 million, per @RapSheet and me.

5:00 p.m. — Gardner Minshew lands with Chiefs
Another veteran backup quarterback option has come off the market, as Gardner Minshew is signing with the Chiefs to back up Patrick Mahomes. The Vikings' options, if we are assuming it won't be Aaron Rodgers or Kirk Cousins, are down to Carson Wentz, Joe Flacco, Jameis Winston, and a few others.
4:30 p.m. — Vikings sign veteran swing tackle Justin Skule
The Vikings have signed Justin Skule, who will replace David Quessenberry as their swing tackle. He started five games for the Buccaneers last season and 12 with the 49ers earlier in his career.
3:26 p.m. — Garrett Bradbury release could be coming
Tom Pelissero is reporting that Bradbury could be released if the Vikings don't find a trade partner. No word on when Minnesota might release him.
The #Vikings plan to release center Garrett Bradbury if they can’t trade him, sources tell me and @RapSheet.

The team signed veteran Ryan Kelly to replace Bradbury, a first-round pick in 2019 who started 88 games in Minnesota. He turns 30 in June and now is headed elsewhere. pic.twitter.com/3g0bsXLReL
2:45 p.m. — Vikings trade Ed Ingram to the Texans

12:53 p.m. — Vikings avoiding press conferences due to Rodgers rumors?
Darren Wolfson of KSTP-TV is speculating that the Vikings might be holding off on media availability with free agent signings, general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, and head coach Kevin O'Connell because they might "feel like the Aaron Rodgers dialogue will dominant those press sessions and they don't exactly know how to answer those questions."
Sounds like the @Vikings were going to make their new free agent signings available to speak with the media this week but that is no longer the case 👀@DWolfsonKSTP wonders if the Aaron Rodgers conversation has caused them to delay this.

12:25 p.m. — Kirk Cousins' situation in Atlanta remains unresolved
The Cousins situation with the Falcons is a bit awkward. He clearly would like to be released so he can go somewhere with a chance to be the starter this year, but Atlanta continues to say they play to keep him as an expensive backup. The suggestion from SI's Albert Breer is that the Falcons could pay a portion of Cousins' salary to essentially buy a draft pick in a trade. Kirk coming back to Minnesota feels very unlikely, but it'll be interesting to see what happens with the former Vikings quarterback.
12:17 p.m. — Kupp to make decision pretty quickly?
According to FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz, Cooper Kupp could make his decision fairly soon. Unlike a certain former Jets quarterback, he doesn't seem likely to make this a lengthy process. The Vikings are believed to at least be in the mix here.
Sources: The sense around the league is that former #Rams WR Cooper Kupp doesn’t plan on having a long, drawn-out process and prefers to make a decision quickly.

Kupp has interest from at least five teams, and the expectation is he’ll decide sooner rather than later. It’s… pic.twitter.com/pKSBqNWyMY
10:09 a.m. — Steelers bring back Mason Rudolph
Rudolph is returning to Pittsburgh, where he spent the first five years of his career, on a two-year, $8 million deal, Mike Garafolo reports. He was with the Titans last season. It's unclear who Rudolph will be backing up with the Steelers this year, but that's one more name off of the QB market for the Vikings.
9:54 a.m. — Russini names 4 teams interested in Cooper Kupp
"There are a lot of teams interested in him. I think his price range, it's a good number. He's looking to get paid around $14-$15 million," Russini said on GoJo and Golic. She noted that the Seahawks, Jaguars, Vikings and Packers are showing interest in Kupp.
9:42 a.m. — Could the Patriots trade for Garrett Bradbury?
One player to keep an eye on in the Patriots' search for a new center: Garrett Bradbury.
— Chad Graff (@ChadGraff) March 13, 2025
The '19 first-round pick has been the Vikings' starter the last 6 years, but could soon be cut after MIN signed Ryan Kelly.
