The San Diego State Aztecs picked up a commitment from an intriguing offensive piece on Thursday.

Jude Wolfe spent the past five seasons playing tight end at USC under Lincoln Reily and Clay Helton. Wolfe announced his commitment to the Aztecs via his X account on Thursday. He'll be a graduate student with one season of eligibility remaining.

Wolfe is a Laguna Hills, California native and a product of St. John Bosco High School. USC's website lists him at 6'6" and 240 pounds.

In 22 games at USC, mostly appearing on special teams, Wolfe totaled 12 catches for 66 yards. Wolfe also caught his first and only college touchdown this season against Colorado. Throughout his time with the Trojans, Wolfe dealt with multiple injuries including a broken foot in 2020. Wolfe specifically thanked the USC medical staff for getting him back to 100% when announcing his entrance into the transfer portal on December 1.

San Diego State is preparing for their first season under head coach Sean Lewis. Longtime SDSU head coach Brady Hoke retired at the end of the 2023 season. The Aztecs finished 4-8 this past season.
