2027 Miami Commit Reclassifies to 2026

The 2026 class for the Miami Hurricanes just got a boost.

After taking some visits to North Carolina, and sometime thinking about possibly decommitting from the Canes, four-star cornerback Kenton Dopson has reclassified to the 2026 class according to Marcus Benjamin of Rivals.

The Hurricanes secondary this class is outstanding and a massive pickup for the Canes who are in need of depth at the position. This season, they have some dealing with some injuries and future seasons the number will be needed.

The Hurricanes sit with the No. 12 ranked 2026 Class and the No. 1 class in the ACC.
