Bengals Activate DJ Reader, Make Punter Decision Ahead of Matchup With Steelers
CINCINNATI — The Bengals officially activated defensive tackle DJ Reader from injured reserve. The veteran has been out since injuring his MCL in his left knee in Week 3 against the Jets.
Reader practiced all week and is good to go for Sunday's matchup in Pittsburgh.

The Bengals are also elevating punter Drue Chrisman from the practice squad. He will make his first NFL start on Sunday against Pittsburgh. Veteran Kevin Huber is still on the roster and will travel with the team, but he'll be inactive on Sunday.
This gives Chrisman a chance to show what he can do in a real game, but gives the Bengals flexibility moving forward. They could always go back to Huber in the future, but the second-year pro out of Ohio State is going to get an opportunity.
The team is also elevating wide receiver Trenton Irwin from the practice squad.
