Report: Amarius Mims Confirms Healthy Status, Jermaine Burton 'Will be Fine' After Ankle Tweak
CINCINNATI — The summer heat caused a few scares on Thursday, but Amarius Mims and Jermaine Burton looked like they avoided bad outcomes.
Mims confirmed he was going to practice on Friday after leaving the field early and Jordan Schultz reported Burton tweaked his ankle, but "he'll be fine."
"I'm perfect, I'll be back out there tomorrow, I'm good," Mims said to reporters on Thursday before comparing Cincinnati and Georgia summers. "The heat is the heat. Just know I'm fine, man. I'm good."
The rookies will look to make returns to the field soon and keep competing for spots in the Bengals' offense.
