Free Agency Projection Sees Buccaneers Land Bears Guard in 2025

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could look to fortify their offensive line this offseason.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have work to do this offseason regardless of how they do during the playoffs. The scouting department is already getting to work on potential players to target in the draft and free agency.

Bleacher Report suggests that the team should sign Chicago Bears interior offensive lineman Teven Jenkins.

"Ben Bredeson is an impending free agent and has been a weak link on Tampa Bay's strong offensive line this season. The front office should try to find an upgrade over him in free agency. Jenkins will be one of its best options," Bleacher Report wrote.

"When healthy, the 26-year-old is a mauler in the running game. He's also coming off the best season of his career in pass protection with only 17 pressures surrendered, according to Pro Football Focus. However, he does have a long injury history and has missed 23 games in four seasons."

Adding a player like Jenkins could be what the Bucs need to go over the hump, and considering how much the team invested in quarterback Baker Mayfield last season, they could look into adding some money to protect him.
