Jaguars Finalize Dates for Critical 2026 Offseason

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars are set for a massive offseason.

The Jaguars, along with the rest of the NFL, had their offseason workout dates finalized on Friday, and we now know the path Liam Coen and his squad will take.

Jaguars Offseason Dates

The Jaguars will officially kick off the first day of their offseason program on April 20, which will introduce the locker room back into the facility. The Jaguars will then hold OTA offseason works on May 26, May 28-29, June 1-2, June 4, and then June 15-17.

Finally, the Jaguars will hold mandatory minicamp from June 9-11. The Jaguars had a stellar turnout for last year's offseason program, which set the table for the Jaguars to go 13-4 and win the AFC South.

Coen, a Coach of the Year finalist after a stellar first season with the franchise, already knows just how critical this offseason is. Not only are the Jaguars looking to duplicate and even exceed last year's win total, but they are looking to do so after an offseason with so far few moves made to upgrade the roster.

The Jaguars will get their big chance to give the roster a shot in the arm during the draft later this month, with general manager James Gladstone being equipped with 11 draft picks. But while the Jaguars will see plenty of new faces, there are new challenges and hurdles Coen and his staff must navigate this offseason.

“Yeah, I think there's a lot of different ways to view success. I think that something we need to be guarded against as a staff and as an organization is, we have a lot of room to improve. We will need to get better and improve and that may not be 13 wins. I don't know. I can't say that. I don't know what those results are, but I know if we're chasing those results, we're not going to be living in the moment," Coen said.

"We're not going to get the best version of ourselves every day. And so, when we get back to this with less time as a coaching staff, with less time with the players as not a new coaching staff, we need to be as intentional as ever with the way that we attack each day. Be as clear and concise with the players when they come back in about what that looks like and how it's going to get done and we have no time to waste."

Coen and the Jaguars may have less time on task compared to a year ago. They will also have increased pressure and expectations, and more than a few teams that are excited to paint a bullseye on their back.

But until the Jaguars officially hit the field again, all they can do is wait
