Patriots Fans Celebrate Stefon Diggs and Cardi B Baby News

New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs and his girlfriend, Cardi B, welcomed their first baby together on November 4, and shared the news with the world on November 13. Patriots fans have shown the couple lots of love in the week since.

Under a Twitter post from the official NFL account, fans shared celebratory messages and blessings for the future Patriots fan.

"Congrats to Cardi & Diggs! That Patriots nation just got stronger" One fan wrote.

"Congratulations to Cardi B and Stefon Diggs on their new baby!" Another wrote. "Welcome to the newest Patriots fan. 💙❤️"

"Stefon really went from catching passes to catching blessings 💙😂," Another wrote.

"This kid will RUN the NFL in 2046" Another speculated. Another fan gave their baby a longer timeline for massive football success, "This kid finna run the league in 2054".

"Cardi B welcomed that baby the day Stefon Diggs was playing the Jets," Another wrote, though the baby's birth just happened to be announced during that game.

Another fan compared the news to the recent media attention on Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's engagement to Taylor Swift.

"Awwww now I take this over taylor swift and travis kelce," They wrote.

The Elephant in the Room

Some others joked about the literal stuffed elephant pictured on the floor next to Cardi B and the baby.

"are we going to talk about the big elephant in the room?" One fan wrote.

Another simply commented with a meme of an elephant with the caption "Address me".

Cardi B announced the news that she was pregnant back in September in an interview with Gayle King.

“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” Cardi said in an interview with Gayle King. “I’m excited. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

Diggs commented on Cardi's Instagram post celebrating the new member of their families. The photos featured their baby in Patriots gear.

"Proud of you boo butt !!!! Love you 💕" Diggs' first comment read. He followed up with two others. "There he issssssss", "Baby brim 😙😙😙😙😙".

The Patriots gear was a nice touch, and fans commented on the unique swaddle.

"Awwww the little “Diggs” patriots swaddle is ADORABLE 💕🫶🏾😭," One fan commented.

The baby, a boy named Brim, is Cardi's fourth child and Diggs' third.
