Report: NFL To Fine Mac Jones $11,139 For Low Block On Eli Apple

In this story:
CINCINNATI — New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones is getting disciplined for his low block this past weekend. According to Mike Florio, Jones is receiving an $11,139 fine for going after Eli Apple's knees on Saturday.
Jones committed the offense after trying to block Apple during a fumble return that was later deemed an incomplete pass late in the fourth quarter.
I’d argue this is worthy of a suspension and a big fine from Mac Jones.

Jones defended the play on Monday—saying he was trying to keep Apple from blocking Patriots wide receiver Tyquan Thornton. Regardless, he now has a reputation as a dirty player less than two years into his NFL career.
