Most of the talk surrounding the Los Angeles Chargers and what they should do during the 2025 NFL Draft has been focused on adding offensive weapons to an offense starving for them.

However, not every pick can be an offensive choice, right? The Chargers will also be looking to bring in someone to help on the defense, and it may start with depth at linebacker.

Former Georgia Bulldogs linebacker Chaz Chambliss is set to meet with the Chargers and the Atlanta Falcons.

Chambliss had a massive 2024 season, which earned the former Bulldogs star All-SEC honors. The former Bulldogs linebacker was a part of two national championship-winning teams during his time with the program.

This past season, Chambliss finished with 40 tackles, but it is his 6.5 sacks from the 2024 season that have a few teams gauging interest.

The NFC South is extremely interested in Chamberliss. Aside from the Falcons, the New Orleans Saints also held an in-person workout with the linebacker.

Bringing in SEC caliber talent on the defensive side of the ball is never a bad idea, just ask the Philadelphia Eagles how that works out.
