FB Alex Armah

Height: 6'2"

Weight: 255 lbs

College: West Georgia

NFL stats: 15 carries, 26 yards, 3 TD's

Depth Chart Projection: Starter

I use the term "starter" loosely here since the Panthers won't likely have him in the actual starting lineup, but he will undoubtedly be the team's No. 1 option at fullback. Most teams only have two options max at the position and I don't foresee anyone beating out Armah.

Analysis:

Armah is a solid player that does well in not only run blocking, but pass protection as well. It will be interesting to see how Joe Brady will utilize him in his offense and what packages and formations he will be on the field for. He's a quality NFL fullback, but he's not one of the best in the league, but doesn't necessarily have to be.

53-Man Roster Status: Lock

As I mentioned earlier, there are not any legitimate threats to oust Alex Armah from his spot. The team will almost certainly carry only one fullback, so this should be a no brainer.
