NFL Week 14 Betting Guide: Odds, Matchups and Spreads
Week 14 of the NFL features only seven of the home teams in SI Sportsbook’s Perfect 10 contest as betting favorites.
For the second consecutive week, it was a chalk weekend in the NFL as favorites went 13-1-1 straight-up (SU) and 10-5 against the spread (ATS). The Browns, Eagles and Cowboys all winning and covering tilted the week in favor of bettors.
In the “Perfect 10” contest, home teams went both 5-4-1 SU and 6-4 ATS.
Blindly backing home teams has been profitable through 13 weeks (five international games plus one neutral site game) as home teams are 104-82-3 (55.9%). Grabbing the points remains the lucrative way to invest as underdogs maintain a 103-86-6 (54.5%) ATS edge. Betting on the under has rewarded bettors with a 108-85-2 (55.9%) record.
After Monday night’s Saints-Buccaneers game went under the total of 41, the under on all nationally televised prime-time games now stands at 21-18-1 (53.8%).

Bettors can take part in SI Sportsbook’s free Perfect 10 contest each week during the NFL season. The weekly game requires bettors to make 10 selections against the spread for a chance at a share of a $10,000 prize. Every bettor who picks at least six games correctly will be awarded consolation prizes in the form of free bets.
