While currently recovering from an upper body injury suffered in Senior Bowl practices, Marshall's Rasheen Ali is still considered one of the top G5 running backs in the 2024 Draft Class. The Ohio native rushed for 2831 yards in college with 42 total touchdowns to his name.

Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy took to X this week to note his biggest observations about Ali's play and professional prospects, calling him a "Day 3 Steal."

"Thing that makes Marshall's Rasheen Ali different from few of more talked about 'speed backs' in this year's draft is that he isn't a tight-ankled straight-line guy that needs it blocked," Nagy noted "Ali has legit lateral cut & make-miss to turn negative runs into chunk runs."

Nagy went on to note how exciting Ali's speed makes him as a player and should continue to do so at the next level.

"Ali's instant acceleration & hard plant downhill cuts make him ideal fit for wide zone teams," he stated.

The 2024 NFL Draft begins on April 25 and continues through April 27 in Detroit.
