    Charlotte Defensive Lineman Eyabi Okie-Anoma Invited To 2024 NFL Combine

    Charlotte 49ers head coach Biff Pogg confirmed on social media this week that defensive end Eyabi Okie-Anoma has received an invite to the 2024 NFL Combine.

    Okie-Anoma was a Second Team All-American Athletic Conference selection in 2023 with 56 tackles and 5.5 sacks, as well as a team high 11.5 tackles-for-loss. The 2023 Charlotte roster had him listed at 6'5" and 244 pounds.

    Charlotte was Okie-Anoma's fourth stop in college after previous stints at Alabama, UT-Martin, and Michigan. He made the SEC All-Freshman team in 2018 with Alabama.

    In the 2018 high school recruiting class, Okie-Anoma was the country's #4 overall recruit, per 247Sports.

    Okie-Anoma is impressing some scouts this week during practice for the East-West Shrine Bowl. The East-West Shrine Bowl is set for Thursday, February 1 on NFL Network at 8 PM ET.

    The 2024 NFL Combine is scheduled for February 29 through March 3 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
