The fourth set of College Football Playoff rankings of the 2023 season were revealed on ESPN on Tuesday night.

The Tulane Green Wave find themselves back at #23 after dropping back to #24 in last week's rankings. Tulane have now been included in ten consecutive sets of College Football Playoff rankings.

Tulane continued their march through the American Athletic Conference on Saturday with a 24-8 win at Florida Atlantic. After four-straight wins by a touchdown or less, Tulane broke that streak thanks to this victory against the Owls.

Quarterback Michael Pratt became Tulane's career passing yards leader, bringing his career total to 9248. Pratt was 21-for-28 through the air for 252 yards at FAU.

The 11-0 Liberty Flames also made their program debut in the College Football Playoff rankings at #25. James Chadwell's team beat UMass 49-25 this past season. Only two of their wins this season have been by seven points or less.

The Green Wave will face UTSA this week in New Orleans. If the Green Wave win, they will host the AAC championship game. If they lose, they will need an SMU loss against Navy in order to return to the title game.

Liberty will play UTEP in El Paso this season to end the regular season. The Flames will then face New Mexico State in the CUSA championship game on December 2.
