SMU Football: Vegas Sets Odds For Preston Stone's 2024 Heisman Campaign

In their final season in the AAC, the SMU Mustangs were crowned the 2023 AAC champions. SMU will join the ACC in 2024. 

The Mustangs will once again be led by quarterback Preston Stone. He threw for 3,197 yards with 28 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also rushed for four touchdowns. Stone broke his leg in the final game of the regular season, leaving him unable to play in the AAC title game or the Fenway Bowl.

On Friday, SportsBetting.ag released odds for 21 players with, in their opinion, a shot at the Heisman trophy. Stone was one such player, garnering 150/1 odds to take the award. Stone was the only player on the list playing for a team that was a member of the G5 in 2023.

Stone will enter his fourth season in 2024, which will be his junior campaign.
