Rice has one of the more intriguing QB-WR combos in college football, right now.

Luke McCaffrey is a member of one of America's more prominent football families. A quick Google search of the surname will give you a weekend's worth of YouTube videos to sort through. Luke made the switch to wide receiver in 2022 after playing quarterback throughout high school and his first several seasons of college football, two of which were at Nebraska.

JT Daniels is a graduate student on his fourth different FBS football team. He has quickly built his own impressive highlight reel with McCaffrey in the brief time he has spent with the Owls. Daniels added to that highlight reel with an incredibly accurate touchdown pass to McCaffrey at Tulsa on Thursday night.

Daniels slotted the ball just over the shoulder of the opposing cornerback to give his team the lead against the Golden Hurricane. McCaffrey made the touchdown catch with one hand, trapping the ball against his chest.

At the conclusion of Thursday night's game, the two had hooked up for 30 receptions for 514 yards with six touchdowns on the season. Rice went on to win the game 42-10. They improve to 4-3 on the season while Tulsa falls to 3-4.
