MIAMI - On Monday, Florida International hosted their 2024 Pro Day. Former Panthers Donovan Manuel, Jack Daly, Alex Nobles, Lucas Matias, Jalen Bracey and D'Verik Daniel all worked out in from scouts from several NFL teams.

"It was a blessing to be out here, man," said defensive tackle Daly. "Had a lot of fun. Got to work out with my guys one last time and I really enjoyed the process."

Like a workout you would see at the NFL Combine, these former Panthers went through physical measurements, bench press, vertical jump, board jump, 40-yard dash, cone drills and individual position drills.

For most of the players, what they did in the weight room went well.

"My bench I think was the best part of today," said Daly. "I got 25 and that was definitely a good number for me. I think overall it was a good day."

For a lot of these players, the preparation itself for Pro Day was a strong reminder of what it will take to make it at the next level.

"It was just a long four months of working hard," said Daly. "Early mornings, late nights just trying to really focus on getting these times down and getting my bench good and all that kind of stuff."

For Daly specifically, he will work out in the New England Patriots local day and then the Miami Dolphins local day as well. Expect to see some of the FIU players who worked out on Pro Day at those regional prospect events throughout the spring.
