After a productive career at the Division I and Division II levels of college football, quarterback Austin Reed will look to take his game to the professional level in 2024.

Western Kentucky Athletics announced Reed's invitation to the 2024 NFL Combine on Friday afternoon. The Tops confirmed that wide receiver Malachi Corley had accepted an invite to the combine as well. 

In two seasons at WKU, Reed completed 63.2 percent of his passes, with 678 completions on 1073 attempts. Reed also threw for 8086 yards in that time with 71 touchdowns and 22 interceptions. Reed also rushed for 312 yards with 12 touchdowsn in that time. 

Despite only playing two seasons for the Tops, Reed ended his college career as WKU's third all-time leading passer behind Mike White and Brandon Doughty.

Prior to WKU, Reed was the starting quarterback for Division II West Florida, where we he helped the Argonauts to a national championship in 2019. He threw forty touchdowns with 11 interceptions that season.

The 2024 NFL Combine is scheduled for February 29 through March 3 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
