The final week of the college football regular season is here. In the Group of Five, three conferences have yet to confirm their title game matchups. There are several teams that can still get to a bowl game as well. That makes for an entertaining Thanksgiving weekend of football to watch while avoiding conversation with your in-laws.

Here’s what we’re watching for.

UTSA @ #23 Tulane

Friday- 3:30 PM ET - ABC

If Tulane win, they host their second AAC title game in a row. UTSA are also trying to reach their third conference title game in a row after winning CUSA in 2021 and 2022. Depending on what happens with SMU, we could also end up seeing these two face each other again in the AAC title game the following week.

Georgia Southern @ Appalachian State

Saturday - 3:30 PM ET - ESPNU

One of those rivalries that still sets off a visceral reaction with certain people in the southeast. 6-5 Georgia Southern can secure their first winning season since 2020. Meanwhile, App State are still very much alive in the Sun Belt title race. They need a win and a win by James Madison over Coastal Carolina to reach the championship game.

San Jose State @ UNLV

Saturday - 3 PM ET - Mountain West Network

At first place in the Mountain West, a win locks up home field advantage in the title game for UNLV. However, if San Jose State win, they get to a bowl game and things get wacky in terms of figuring out a title game matchup. Technically, both these teams as well as Air Force and Boise State are all in play for the conference championship.

James Madison @ Coastal Carolina

Saturday - 3:30 PM ET - ESPN2

For a number of reasons, including a recent injury to star quarterback Grayson McCall that’s kept him sidelined for the better part of the last month, Coastal Carolina have been inconsistent. Since Coastal beat App State earlier this year, they just need one more win to reach the league title game. It’s a tough ask against a 10-1 James Madison team that has one of the best overall defenses in the country.

Colorado State @ Hawaii

Saturday - 11 PM ET - Spectrum Sports PPV

A win makes Colorado State bowl eligible-a nice reward for a Rams team that’s seen a wild combination of highs and lows this season. For Hawaii, a win won’t send them to the postseason, but it will put them at five wins and be definitive proof that the program took a step forward in year two under Timmy Chang. This game will also be the last one of the FBS regular season (other than Army-Navy) to kick off.
