The three finalists for the 32nd Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award were announced on Tuesday afternoon. Among the finalists were two kickers from the Group of Five. 

Graham Nicholson (Miami [OH]): 23/23 FG, 33/34 XP, Long of 52 Yards

Jose Pizano (UNLV): 23/25 FG, 49/49 XP, Long of 52 Yards

Will Reichard (Alabama): 18/21 FG, 50/50 XP, Long of 51 Yards

Graham Nicholson is a junior who finished the regular season a 23-for-23 on field goals, the most ever in a full FBS season without a miss. He needs three more consecutive makes to set the all-time FBS record for consecutive field goals in a single season. Nicholson made at least one field goal in every game this year

Pizano is a senior who transferred to UNLV after being named an FCS All-American at Missouri State. Going back to his time at Missouri State, Pizano has made 84 consecutive extra points. Pizano set several single-season records at UNLV, including most field goals in a season by a Rebel and made 19 straight to set a new program record as well. He kicked two game-winners, one as part of a four-field goal game against Vanderbilt and the other in a six-field goal performance against Colorado State. The latter performance was a single-game record for UNLV as well.

The Miami Redhawks face Toledo in the MAC Championship game will kick off on Saturday, December 2 at 12 PM ET on ESPN. UNLV host Boise State in the Mountain West Championship will kick off on Saturday, December 2, at 3 PM ET on FOX.
