With spring around the corner, former college football players are now seeking opportunities to continue playing all over the globe.

Former South Alabama and Indiana linebacker D.K. Bonhomme will be one such prospect, participating in the Canadian football League's Invitational Combine this week in Waterloo, Ontario.

Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Bonhomme played high school football at Clearwater Academy in Florida.

Bonhomme began his college career at Indiana, but followed defensive coordinator Kane Wommack to South Alabama for the 2022 season. He played in three games, totaling six tackles for the Jaguars. That season, USA had him listed at 6'2", 237 pounds.

Differing from the NFL, the CFL has several different combines. The CFL Invitational Combine aims to bring in mainly Canadian prospects who aren't immediately coming out of college football this past season.

The University of Waterloo’s Feridun Hamdullahpur Field House will host the CFL Invitational Combine on March 8. The top prospects identified at the event will then be invited to participate in the CFL's National Combine in Winnipeg, March 19-24.
