One of Georgia Southern's most experienced defenders is opting for the transfer portal.

Defensive back Georgia Southern announced via his social media on Friday that he'll be looking for a new home in 2024.

In four seasons in Statesboro, Robertson played in 45 games for the Eagles, with well over 1000 snaps. He started 14 games over the last three seasons. Robertson has 75 total tackles, with eight pass deflections and a forced fumble. He also made assisted tackles for loss on two occasions. 

Georgia Southern had Robertson listed at 5'10" and 190 pounds. The Madison, Georgia native was a two-star recruit upon signing with the Eagles in the class of 2020. He originally signed with the Eagles to play for then-head coach Chad Lunsford, who is now the associated head coach at Florida Atlantic.

Robertson will be a graduate transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.
