Cincinnati Reds Starter Placed on Paternity List Ahead of Friday's Game vs Orioles

The Cincinnati Reds placed starting pitcher Nick Lodolo on the paternity list on Thursday and recalled Carson Spiers from Triple-A Louisville.
Spiers is scheduled to start in the series finale on Sunday against the Baltimore Orioles.
The 27-year-old has made two starts for Cincinnati this season and has given up five runs over 9 1/3 innings.
Lodolo has a 2.31 ERA over four starts with the Reds this season.
It is likely that Lodolo will just miss one start.
