Reds Outfielder Tj Friedl Set to Begin Rehab Assignment for Triple-A Louisville

A step in the right direction!

CINCINNATI — Reds outfielder TJ Friedl was sent to Triple-A Louisville on Sunday. He'll start a rehab assignment with hopes of rejoining the big league club in the near future.

Friedl is dealing with a hamstring injury. He's dealt with multiple injuries throughout this season.

He has a .216 batting average with four home runs and 16 RBI in 97 at-bats for the Reds this year. Hopefully he can get back to the big leagues and give Cincinnati a much needed boost over the final few months of the season.
