CINCINNATI — Ja'Marr Chase had his best NFL season over the past few months and he broke down how it all came together last week with Sirius XM.

The Bengals star became just the third NFL receiver this century to lead the league in receiving yards (1,708), touchdowns (17), and catches (127).

"Just having an opportunity to make plays on the ball in the air," Chase told the station. "Joe (Burrow) gave me opportunities. (offensive coordinator) Dan Pitcher, giving me the opportunity to move into different positions. Big explosives all over the field. I got a chance to show more of my game."

Chase was close to signing a contract extension last offseason, but that didn't happen and the price just went up heavily for the Bengals front office.

He's earned every penny on a new extension as arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL.
