Bengals Elevate Sean Davis for Sunday's Game Against Steelers
CINCINNATI — Will Sunday be known as the Sean Davis revenge game?
The Bengals elevated the veteran safety from the practice squad for their Week 3 matchup against the Steelers.
Davis spent the first five years of his career in Pittsburgh.
Safety Ricardo Allen suffered a broken hand in Week 1. week's win over the Vikings. They signed Davis to help fill the void on defense. He was on the field for seven defensive snaps in Week 2 against the Bears.
Davis played for the Colts in the season opener and was waived earlier this week. He has 259 tackles and five interceptions in 66 career games.
