Report: Former Bengals Cornerback Eli Apple Signing With Chargers

CINCINNATI — Former Bengals cornerback Eli Apple is back in the NFL. The veteran is signing with the Chargers after working out for the team on Monday.
Apple will start out on the practice squad according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
The 29-year-old is entering his ninth season. He spent two years in Cincinnati (2021-22) where he racked up 98 tackles and two interceptions in 31 games.
Apple played for the Dolphins last season, appearing in 10 games. The Bengals play the Chargers on Nov. 17 in Los Angeles.
