Browns Jersey Numbers Announced for Za’Darius Smith, Rodney McLeod and Others

More jersey numbers are in for the Cleveland Browns new additions as they begin OTAs.

Cleveland Browns are kicking off OTAs today and the media will be able to enter tomorrow. With that being said, multiple players now have their new numbers with the team, the Browns announced.

DE Za’Darius Smith is set to rock No. 99, it will be the first time he has worn the number in his career. Smith held No. 90 with the Ravens, then No. 55 with the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings.

S Rodney McLeod will keep No. 26 just like he had last year with the Indianapolis Colts. CB Greedy Williams previously had the number but he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency.

CB Chris Westry will have No. 49, while rookie DE Isaiah McGuire will wear No. 57. DE Alex Wright has switched from No. 94 to No. 91. Most notably, the No. 57 was worn by Browns’ legend Clay Matthews, so that is some unneeded pressure that McGuire has applied to himself.

Jersey numbers are subject to change as roster cuts happen in training camp. We will continue to update as jersey numbers change throughout camps.
