Browns Select QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson at No. 140 in the 2023 NFL Draft
To start their first of two fifth-round picks the Cleveland Browns made an interesting move by selecting UCLA QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson with pick No. 140 in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Thompson-Robinson is a player that has played a ton of football, 49 games at UCLA to be exact, over his five-year career there. He was at his best as a senior this past year with 27 passing touchdowns to 10 interceptions.
A dual threat that fits the Browns offense, Thompson-Robinson has run for over 600 yards in each of the last two seasons, as well as 12 rushing touchdowns in 2022. At 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, DTR runs a quick 4.51 40-yard dash.
Now, the UCLA product will enter a Browns quarterback room that includes Deshaun Watson, Joshua Dobbs, and Kellen Mond.
Cleveland makes DTR their third pick of the day, joining OT Dawand Jones and DE Isaiah McGuire. The Browns now have three picks left in this draft.
