On Thursday, the American Athletic Conference released the 2024 schedule for all 14 teams, which now includes Army.

For a second consecutive season, the USF Bulls will take on Alabama. When these two teams faced off against in Tampa last season, Alabama came away with the win, but a closely contested 17-3 win.

In total, the American Athletic Conference will face a total of 16 Power Four opponents - five against the SEC, four against the Big 12, three against the ACC and two against the Big Ten. Army and Navy will take on Notre Dame.

After a one-season break, the FAU Owls will host the FIU Panthers in their traditional Shula Bowl rivalry game. The last time these two teams faced off against each other, the Owls came away with a 52-7 win.

One schedule that stands out right away is that of the Charlotte 49ers who have to take on James Madison in Week One followed by North Carolina in Week Two. In Week Four, they head to Bloomington to take on Indiana. The conference portion of the schedule includes a traditionally strong Tulane, USF who were much improved in 2023 and Memphis who went 10-3 and 6-2 in conference play.

AAC runners-up Tulane will begin their season against FCS Southern Louisiana, but will then go up against two Power Five opponents in Kansas State and Oklahoma. That conference slate may not as strong as Charlotte's, but Memphis and USF are still among the teams they will face.

As the East Carolina Pirates enter a new era with quarterback Jake Garcia, the Pirates will kick off their season against FCS Norfolk State and then take on Old Dominion, Appalachian State and Liberty - all FBS teams who made it to a bowl game in 2023. ECU will not face a Power Five opponent this season.

As expected, the Army-Navy game will be a non-conference matchup between both teams. The 125th matchup between the two academies will take place on December 14
